DESCRIPTION:

At Harrison Goldman Studio, I had the responsibility to lead and manage a group of two architects and one engineer working on the technical design of indoor common areas, spa, gym and 20-metre pool in this new 58-story residential tower in Canary Wharf.

In a first step in 2018, I took care of the technical design of a large sculptural stone development in the main lobby. It was a great success to find a fine and elegant solution to the challenge of fixing huge volumes of stone in a refined lobby.

In 2019 the project progressed and at that time we were immersed in a demanding and high-standard work, where we provided technical solutions to complicate constructive details, especially in the pool and sauna areas.

As our technical design was related to many other subcontractors and it was carried out at the same time as the implementation of other jobs, coordination was a must.

That new step was a challenge for me, because apart from my daily and regular duties, I had the opportunity and responsibility to lead a team. I learnt a lot and improved my leadership skills.
